Sales Manager – Nordic region to SKIDATA
About the Role
The Sales Manager for the Nordic Region will lead a team of sales professionals across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland, with the primary responsibility of driving sales growth in the Sports & Entertainment and Parking & Mobility segments. This role requires a deep understanding of the Nordic market and a strong interest in digital innovation.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring overall growth in the targeted market segments. Key responsibilities include managing and mentoring the sales team, developing market expansion strategies, and championing the company’s digital transformation efforts.
This position is based either in Norway or at the headquarter in Karlstad,Sweden. The role will involve frequent travel within the Nordic region.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role has significant experience in sales and sales management, particularly within digital and automation solutions. A deep understanding of the Nordic market and business culture is essential, along with fluency in at least one Nordic language.
Leadership qualities, including the ability to mentor and motivate a remote team, are crucial. Strong negotiation and communication skills are also required to build relationships with key clients and drive long-term business growth.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (a master’s degree is an advantage).
- At least 5 years of sales experience, at least 3 years in a sales management role, ideally within digital or automation solutions.
- Proven track record of driving digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of the Nordic market and business culture.
- Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, or Finnish).
- Willingness to travel frequently across the Nordic region.
